AST 2017 Season Schedule
Renewal of your AS PGA Tour membership for the 2017 season will cost
US$ 350 for professionals who were paid up members in 2016
Present and past members of any recognized PGA or Tour are NOT required to under go the AST's qualifying school and are automatically entitled register to enter and play in an ASM tournament and to join the AST provided they are at least 50 years old.
Non-Member(s) Country Exemption (CE) Status
The (CE) status applies to Nationals, Legal Residents and members of the PGA of the host county, senior professional golfers who have reached 50 years of age prior to the 1st day of an ASM tournament can apply and if approved enter under (CE) Status to play in an ASM event, depending upon the country in which the event is staged, however please note that as a general rule if a participant does not qualify (CE) status it will cost a non-member between US$ 250 and US$ 350 extra to register and play in an ASM event depending upon the prize money on offer, so it does make sense to join the AST....
ALL PROFESSIONALS are entitled to the last place prize money deduction to be offset against the full cost of their tournament entry fees which are payable upon registration.
SENIOR (S) - NEW MEMBER professional golfer - 50 years of age but under 60 - US$ 700
- 1 time joining fee - US$ 350
- 2017 annual membership fees - US$ 350
Eligible categories include -
- successful Q School candidates
- current and or past members of any recognized PGA and or Tour
- playing for the SENIOR main purse off the BLUE Tee Boxes
SUPER SENIOR (SS)- NEW MEMBER professional golfer - 60 years of age but under 70 - US$ 550
- discounted 1 time joining / re-joining fee - US$ 200
- 2017 annual membership fees - US$ 350
Eligible categories & conditions include -
- successful Q School candidates
- past ASM tournament participants
- past / lapsed AST members
- current or lapsed APCT members
- current or past members of any recognized PGA and or Tour
SS division professionals can elect to contest and play in an ASM tournament from the
Blue Tee Boxes
- so as to qualify for the SENIOR main purse
- as well as the SUPER SENIOR purse provided he has contributed to the purse
WHITE Tee Boxes
- so at to qualify ONLY for the SUPER SENIOR purse
VETERAN (V) - NEW MEMBER professional golfer - 70 years of age and older - US$ 550
- discounted 1 time joining / re-joining fee - US$ 200
- 2017 annual membership fees - US$ 350
Eligible categories & conditions include -
- successful Q School candidates
- past ASM tournament participants
- past / lapsed AST members
- current or lapsed APCT members
- current or past members of any recognized PGA and or Tour
V division professionals can elect to contest and play in an ASM tournament from the
Blue Tee Boxes
- so as to qualify for the SENIOR main purse
- as well as the SUPER SENIOR purse provided he has contributed to the purse
- as well as the VETERANS purse provided he has contributed to the purse
WHITE Tee Boxes
- so at to qualify for the SUPER SENIOR purse provided he has contributed to the purse
- as well as the VETERANS purse provided he has contributed to the purse
RED Tee Boxes
- so as to qualify ONLY for the VETERANS purse provided he has contributed to the purse
