Winner of the 2003 Australian Seniors Championship. John also has won the 2003 Manly Seniors, Victorian Seniors PGA & Terry Hills Seniors.
For many years one of Australias most consistent players with victories in the 1978 NSW PGA, 1985 Tahiti Open, 1986 South Australian PGA, 1991 Vanuatu Open & 1992 Tahiti Open.
From 1994 to 2002 John could not play due to injury.
John played in the inaugural 2003 Asian Seniors Masters in Singapore and finished 12th and the 2005 Asian Senior Masters Malaysia.
