Jay Jhaveri passed the AST's Qualyfying School Malaysia (Johor) at Palm Villa GCC in August 2016 - returning a combined 2 day score of 12 over par.
Jay is a strategy consultant and is an advisor to companies in the area of anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy. Jay is an expert in the area of anti-money laundering, countering the financing of terrorism and anti-bribery and corruption.
Jay was the head of business development for Wealth-X in Asia. Wealth-X is the leading provider of qualified prospects and intelligence on ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWI's).
As one of the early joiners at Wealth-X, Jay was part of the core group in establishing the business.
Prior to joining Wealth-X, Jay was the head of World-Check in Asia. Jay established the World-Check operations and led the sales effort in the region for almost 10 years. During his time at World-Check, Jay published and authored numerous papers and his views were frequently sought by the press and academics. World-Check was subsequently acquired by Thomson Reuters.
Before his tenure at World-Check, Jay was a professional banker for more than 12 years, eight of which were in the area of private banking. He has worked with leading European and Swiss banks in India, the UK and Singapore.
Jay holds an MBA in Finance and a BBA in Economics.
