AST Qualifying School @ Johor 2016 – Palm Villa GCC - from Sun 27 to Wed 30 March
Sun 27 Mar – Practice Round @ Welcome Dinner - afternoon T Off
Mon 28 Mar – AST Q School - Day 1 - afternoon T Off
Tue 29 Mar – AST Q School - Day 2 - afternoon T Off
Wed 30 Mar – AST Q School - Final Day - afternoon T Off
US$ 1,450 entry fee (all inclusive Q School package)
- 4 nights hotel accommodation, breakfast & lunch
- 4 rounds of golf, on course refreshments, buggy & caddy fees – twin sharing
- 1 dinner, and 1 goodie bag
- daily return transportation between the hotel and golf club
Malaysia & Singapore residents
- local package - SG$ 1,000 (no hotel accommodation or transport provided)
AST Q School is open to male golfers aged 49 years and older.
In order to qualify and pass the AST Q School candidates must return a 3 day / 54 hole score of no more than 15 over par. In the unfortunate event that an AST Q School candidate might fail to return the required score, they may stay on to re-take Q School during any one of the following ASM tournaments to be staged during the AST's 2016 Season.
Successful AST Q School candidates who have already attained 50 years of age, and having paid to join the AST / Asian Seniors PGA Tour, will automatically become eligible to contest the following ASM tournaments to be staged during the AST's 2016 Season -
Asian Seniors Tour (AST) membership 2016 - it costs the following to join –
SG$ 860 @ US$ 600 - for New Members
- includes 1 time US$ 300 joining fee and 1st year's 2016 membership fees
(applies to successful Q School candidates and current / past members of any recognized PGA)
SG$ 570 @ US$ 400 - for professionals (past AST members or professionals who have played in an ASM event)
applies to professionals who have let their memberships lapse - this category will cease to exist from 2017
SG$ 430 @ US$ 300 - for professionals wishing to renew their membership for the 2016 season
OPTIONAL
AST members / professionals / amateur golfers planning to stay on in Johor and intending to play in 6th ASM @ Indonesia (Batm) 2016 event
Additional night’s stay @ Berjaya Waterfront Hotel – prior to departure on Fri 1 April for Batam and the ASM @ Indonesia (Batam) 2016 play & stay package coming into effect
- RM 240 Single Occupancy and or RM 125 – Twin Sharing per golfer - includes breakfast
