Conditions of Entry for Professional golfers

AGE - all professionals must be male and have attained 50 years of age on or by the 1st day of the event

Compulsory Accommodation - all professional participants MUST invest in a CIES ASM Senior Open Thailand 2017 all inclusive play & stay package - which includes a US$ 180 tournament entry fee.

The only exemptions are members of the Thai Seniors PGA, Thai Nationals & legal residents of Thailand of who have been accepted by the AST as qualifying for Thai Host Country Exemption status.

Joining the AST - in the event that the tournament's Champion, 1st and or 2nd runners up (top 3 positions) are Non-Members they understand and accept that they will be required to join the AST and become full members and that the cost for them to do so will be deducted from their prize money.

Defense of Title- the Champion is required and agrees to return to defend his title at his own cost.

Representing the AST at other professional events - AST members who secure places to play in other professional tournaments via the AST are required to wear AST T Shirts during at least 1 day of the professional tournament and to provide photographic proof of having done so.

• Single Occupancy – US$ 1,000 - US$ 250 last place prize money = US$ 750
• Twin Sharing with a Pro or accompanying Amateur golfer – US$ 850 per golfer - US$ 250 = US$ 600 each
• Twin Sharing with spouse / non-golfing companion – US$ 1,150 - US$ 250 = US$ 900
- twin sharing non-golfing companion is entitled to same F&B and travel benefits as professional participants

NON MEMBERS - with the exception of 2 winners from the 4th SINGHA Thailand Champions Tour 2017, members of the Thai Senior PGA and participants who qualify for Thai Host Country Exemption status - add US$ 350 surcharge to the cost of selected AST members play & stay package
• single occupancy – US$ 1,350 - US$ 250 last place prize money = US$ 1,100
• twin sharing with a Pro or accompanying Amateur golfer – US$ 1,200 per golfer - US$ 250 = US$ 950 each
• twin sharing with spouse / non-golfing companion – US$ 1,500 - US$ 250 = US$ 1,250

Should a Non-member wish to join the AST after having participated in the 2nd ASEAN Senior Open (Thailand) 2017 and after having already paid the extra US$ 350 (non-member surcharge) – this payment can and will be taken into account and offset against the full joining fee of US$ 700 for New Members and he will only be required to make up the difference of US$ 350 - this offer and option remains valid until 5pm on Tue 3 October 2017

AST Pro Qualifier / Q School (single Occupancy) add US$ 250 = US$ 1,250
- US$ 150 commission to Pro if the amateur Q School candidate is introduced / registered by a Pro

Thai Nationals / Thai Seniors PGA members / Thai Residents who have previously participated in an ASM tournament qualify for SPECIAL Thai Host Country Exemption status even if they are not members of the AST will pay
– US$ 660 per golfer - US$ 250 last place prize money = US$ 410 @ THB 14,000 each

Thai Nationals / Thai Seniors PGA members / Thai Residents who qualify for Thai Host Country Exemption status but who have NEVER played in an ASM event pay
– US$ 765 per golfer - US$ 250 last place prize money = US$ 515 @ THB 17,500 each

Thai Country Exemptions - there in NO Limit to numbers - please note -
- if you pay your entrance fees in Thai Baht you will also receive prize money in the same currency
- priority given to AST members and Thai senior professionals who have played in previous ASM events
- country exemption package excludes hotel accommodation & transportation
- country exemption package includes all meals as per ASM schedule

SENIORS
- male professionals who have attained 50 years of age on or by the 1st day of the event
- playing off the BLUE t boxes for the main SENIOR tournament purses

SUPER SENIOR (SS) division
- male professionals who have attained 60 years of age
- playing off WHITE t boxes for SS division purse ONLY - the PRO MUST contribute SG$ 100 to the purse
- playing off BLUE t boxes competing for both the main SENIOR and SS division prize purses

VETERANS (V) division
- male professionals who have attained 70 years of age
- playing off RED t boxes for V division purse ONLY - PRO MUST contribute SG$ 100 to the purse
- playing off WHITE t boxes in both V & SS division - PRO MUST contribute SG$ 100 to each purse = SG$ 200
- playing off BLUE t boxes competing in all 3 divisions for main SENIOR, SS & V division prize purses

The SENIOR, SS & V division participants are all entitled to claim their SG$ 350 @ US$ 250 last place guaranteed prize money that will be deducted from their entry fee at registration

Professionals Dress Code
Long trousers, shirts with collars, and shoes (NO SLIPPERS) are to be worn during all golfing and official functions, failure to comply in the first instance will result in a US$ 50 fine, which will double for subsequent offences. Shorts may ONLY be worn during practice rounds and after the end of official function.

Professionals Compulsory Pro-Am attendance / participation
All participating PROFESSIONALS are required to play in the Pro-Am event(s), failure to comply with out written approval will in the first instance will result in a US$ 50 fine, which will double for subsequent offences.

All fines collected will be put towards NTP prize money for all participants to compete for.

Caddies
If a senior professional golfer might wish to bring his own caddy he may do so, however in order for the caddy to enjoy the various F&B, transportation and other benefits the professional must have invested in and paid the AST for a Twin Sharing with non-golfing companion package.

If a senior professional under the COUNTRY EXEMPTION category might wish to bring his own caddy he may do so, however his caddy is not permitted to enter the club house nor entitled to attend any official meals provided during the ASM event unless the professional has first sought and obtained permission from AST management and made payment in order for his caddy to enjoy F&B privileges.

Insurance
All Senior Professionals and their companions are advised and required to ensure that they have made arrangements to have their own valid personal travel and medical insurance.

Holding Harmless Agreement / Liability Waiver
All registered participants be they professional or amateur golfers as well as their non-golfing companions accept and understand that by participating in and attending the ASM event that they do so accepting and assuming full responsibility for any and all damages, injuries and or losses that they may sustain and or incur, if any, while participating in and or travelling to and from the various venues, and further agree to hold harmless the Asian Seniors Tour and any and all allied / related companies, their staff and all appointed contractors.
